Our beloved ROS partners, We want to share with you that Roads of Success is working on sending a medical support and stress relief team of 20 people to Ukraine, Lebanon, and Iraq on October 2022.
Our on-the-ground partners there are overwhelmed and need our help.
Please watch these two videos to know what we did last year on our aid trips to Lebanon and Iraq:
The scope and significance of Roads of Success humanitarian intervention is expanding.
In Egypt, our vision was to educate the thriving local communities’ residents life skills in order to help them develop outcomes for their own personal lives. Consequently, they can have an impact on their local business, local economy and local communities. Since improvements in skills boost growth and lift productivity, English and sewing courses were offered, as well as teaching vulnerable people practical skills that will allow them to become financially independent.
In rural Damascus, Syria, our hearts were shattered for the traumatized people and kids. We could feel their pain, intense shock, fear, confusion, shame, anger, conflicting emotions and feelings of guilt. Therefore, we wanted to bring them joy and happiness through distributing clothes and toys. Being able to get back to normal is so important after experiencing trauma, so we are excited to share that ISIS survivors in Iraq were treated to a day out at a mall with our partners, Light of Life Ministry.
All these amazing achievements would not be possible without your support, and for that we sincerely thank you. Our motto is, “We connect the people who have needs with the people who have hearts,” and we feel so blessed that you have opened your heart to our cause.
At Roads of Success, our motto is, “We connect the people who have needs with the people who have hearts.”With this as our guiding principle, we have been able to do some amazing, life-changing work this week and are excited to share an update.
In Egypt:
We were privileged to host Dr. Hani Nashed at the Sadik El Tefl orphanage in Egypt to do a medical checkup for the children. He sacrificially donated his time and skills to provide amazing medical care to those most in need and we are extremely grateful.
In Syria:
We were able to provide support for those suffering from the devastating effects of war by distributing clothes and toys to 2600 people in Swaida and Deraa, Syria.
We hosted Father Botros Roshdy in three special episodes for our Virtuous Women TV program which aims to offer spiritual support and empower women in the Middle East.
In The US:
ROS is also excited to engage in a strategic partnership with Voice of Refugees, an organisation which supports refugees and asylum-seeking families as they settle in the United States. We provide kid’s clothes, shoes, and toys, household essentials, and supplemental food.
All these amazing achievements would not be possible without your support, and for that we sincerely thank you.

According to the UN report, more than 6 million people have fled Ukraine, and 8 million people are internally displaced. Additionally risks of abuse, sexual exploitation, human trafficking and gender based violence is escalating.
However, despite all the pain and sorrow, we reached thousands of the Ukrainians to offer them relief buckets and containers with supplies. These boxes contain shoes, walkers and wheelchairs, blankets, clothes, kids jumpers, kids playground foam, and food. These shipments are meant to ensure basic services and strengthen protection. In addition, we blessed many torn apart children with toy bags to draw smiles on their faces.
The situation in Ukraine in changing by the hour, and the scale of destruction in almost all sectors is utterly shocking. Your donations will make an impact!
July has been a busy month at Roads of Success as we have continued to raise awareness and partake in advocacy for victims of war, while also providing practical, life-giving relief and support to those most in need. Your support has allowed us to do the following:
Advocacy and Awareness
International Ministerial Conference on Freedom of Religion or Belief – July 5- 6, 2022: President of Roads of Success, Dr. Yvette Isaac, and Jacqueline Isaac (VP) were able to raise awareness of the plight of innocents in war-torn regions who are subjected to sexual violence by chairing a panel at the UK’s recent conference on freedom of religion hosted by the UK Government in London.
Deborahs United Conference – July 14-16, 2022: Yvette Isaac inspired women at the Deborahs United Conference, challenging them to identify the thief of joy in their lives and instead to rely on God, noting that when they make the choice, God makes the change. In acknowledgement of all Yvette does to serve Christians in the Middle East, Cindy Jacobs presented Yvette with an award. For a video of Yvette’s remarks.
Content Creation: During the month of July, we produced new episodes of our English program, The Prophetic Highway, which airs on Creation TV in Hong Kong. We also produced new episodes of our Arabic program, The Virtuous Woman, which has a life changing motto “ I make the choice and God makes the change”, encouraging women to make choices, as well as one live program of From Heart to Heart, in addition to 15 short spots and small clips.
Humanitarian Aid
Ukraine: Your support allowed us to provide tangible support to war victims in Ukraine. We sent our second shipment this month, providing 25,000 lbs (11,000 kgs) of clothing, shoes, diapers, and infant supplies. Please join us in praying that the shipment would reach the families affected by the war who are in dire need. For more details, you can watch the .video.
Duhok, Northern Iraq: ROS had the privilege to partner with Light of Life Ministry to provide new shoes to ISIS sex slaves survivors. The joy that the simple gift of shoes provided was amazing to see! Your support helped bring real joy and practical relief to those very much in need.
We were also able to distribute shoes to more than 250 barefoot children, protecting their feet from the scorching summer heat. We were able to continue our weekly medical clinic services for refugees and the displaced, offering them free, life-saving medical care.
Egypt: The team in Egypt was able to provide free spiritual, psychological, and medical services to 123 patients and provided sewing courses for 42 single women, widows, and others in need to equip them to start their own businesses, giving them financial stability. We also offer Egyptian youth a weekly online English language course using Zoom, to help them find a better job.
Our motto is, “We connect the people who have needs with the people who have hearts,” so we thank you for your big hearts which have opened to those in need. None of our work would be possible without your support, so for that, we thank you. We are always looking to expand our impact and we can’t do it alone – your continued partnership is vital to our success.

We are thrilled to announce that the ROS VP will chair a panel for the Religious Freedom International Minsterial hosted by the UK Government in London on July 5-6, 2022. The panel will be co-hosted by the Prime Minster Special Envoy on Religious Freedom and the UK’s Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict Initiative (PSVI). The panel content is developed by Issac to once again highlight the Declaration of Humanity, and bring together representatives of the signatories to officially sign the Declaration on behalf of their governments. Further, the panel is to call for responses and solutions to decrease stigma and to protect religious minority women from being targeted for sexual violence during conflicts.
Your support in bridging the fund gaps is really appreciated. The funds are needed to ensure essential services for survivors of violence, and to invest in promoting better life for women and girls. Donate
The ROS is thrilled to announce its success in launching humanitarian commodities shipment to Kurdistan, northern Iraq. The shipment consists of 184 boxes of shoes, wheel chairs, kids’ jumpers, 11 boxes of diapers, boxes of masks, 4 blanket bags, kids’ playground foam mattes to be distributed in refugee camps. This is alongside basic need supplies.
The urge for shipping to Northern Iraq
Iraq remains facing humanitarian concerns since millions are in need for an immediate assistance and protection. Theyears of conflict affected millions, eroded social cohesion, disrupted access to basic services, and destroyed livelihoods which led to increased risks. With limited progress towards development and recovery, millions across Iraq remain in need of humanitarian assistance. According to the International Organization for Migration’s (IOM) Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM), as of 31 July 2021, there remained 1,191,470 internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Iraq.
The Middle East is still facing complex and multiple conflicts, crisis, damages and displacement. Education, vital healthcare, water infrastructure are all at risk. Therefore, your donations will empower us to deliver adequate support in a timely manner. Your collaboration and support will help us to coordinate and promote more shipments to rescue families and children.
In Egypt, women’s economic empowerment is a national priority. Empowering women is pivotal to increasing economic growth and reducing poverty. In the same line, the protection and promotion of women in the Middle East is critical to the ROS agenda. We are committed to promoting women’s rights and protecting them against exclusion. Therefore, the ROS initiates a tailoring and sewing course for women in Upper Egypt as a solution to improve their status and to ensure their accountability.
In our program, village women in Egypt are taught sewing and stitching skills to help them earn livelihood. We believe that societies thrive when women have equal access to services and resources.
The tailoring course aims to:
Covert poor unskilled or semi skilled women into skilled tailors,
Provide regular monitoring and skill-based training to sustain income generation activities,
Enable women to increase their income in order to secure their livelihoods,
Support women-led entrepreneurship and promote their linkage to the market,
Enhance rural women’s participation and leadership in their communities,
Effective enforcement of women’s right and access to decent wage employment,
Ensure social protection,
Promote women’s economic empowerment,
Reduce migration.
Your donations are much appreciated as it will support us to create more local projects and make a change to the global scale.

Do you remember the carefree joy of being a kid – being able to run, jump, climb trees, and ride bikes without a care in the world? Do you remember the long hours spent playing in the backyard free of worry, or making relationships without apprehension or fear?
For millions of children in the Middle East and Ukraine, that joy has been taken from them through war which has ceased adequate food distribution and entertainment. Millions of children around the world are living in terrifying conflicts. They are torn from standard boarder, from home, without food, water or help, and witness things no child should. In addition, those children lack the proper nutrition, education, and stimuli that allow them to just be kids! Those children are forced to move into displaced or refugee camps, where they wait for years in miserable circumstances for normal life to resume. Further, many girls are raped and will be marginalized by her society.
You can make a difference!
Last year we were able to give out 450 Easter baskets filled with toys and treats to children in Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, and Northern Iraq. The excitement, smiles, and joy those baskets brought helped the children to temporarily forget their circumstances and behave like the kids they are!
We humbly ask that you embrace the war-affected children in the Middle East and Ukraine this Easter. Our goal is to give out 1000 Easter baskets at events where children hear the good news.
Just $25 is all that’s needed to fund a basket to help bring hope and joy to a child’s life this Easter.
Also, a team from Roads of Success is going next week to Hungary and Poland to serve the orphan Ukrainian refugees there. To feed 100 orphan children for one week, it would cost $3,000!
We are thankful for your support and prayerfully ask that you would partner with us in this effort by donating. Any amount is appreciated.
