Empowering Children for a Brighter Future (Back-to-School)

For many children living in crisis, education is their only hope for a better future. Roads of Success (ROS) was honored to host a Back-to-School event, ensuring that 1,700 children in Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Kenya, and Honduras could start the school year with dignity and confidence.

Through this initiative, we provided backpacks filled with essential school supplies, lifting a burden off struggling families and giving these children the tools they need to learn, dream, and build a brighter tomorrow. For many, this was more than just receiving school materials; it was a reminder that they are seen, valued, and not alone in their journey.

Refugee Children Ministry: Bringing Hope & Relief

In the midst of crisis, Roads of Success (ROS) continues to stand with Sudanese refugee children and families in Egypt, bringing light to their darkest moments. This Easter, we created a day of joy and hope for 585 Sudanese children at the Sudanese Church in Ezbet El Hagana, filling the space with laughter through a puppet show and gifting them with underclothes, soap, and toys—reminders that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.

But beyond celebration, we also answered the urgent call for disaster relief in Nuba Aswan, where the brutal civil war in Sudan has forced families to flee into Egypt with nothing. With open hands and hearts, we provided food bags and backpacks to 100 refugee families, offering them not just supplies but a sense of security in an uncertain time.

In every effort, We’re not just responding to urgent needs but restoring dignity, rebuilding lives, and sparking hope for a better future.

Hope Restored: Transforming 152 Orphans’ Lives in Kenya

In Kenya, 152 orphaned children who once faced illness, malnutrition, and an uncertain future now have a chance to thrive. For the first time, they are guaranteed three nutritious meals a day for an entire year, giving them strength, health, and the energy to dream beyond mere survival. Medical care is transforming their well-being, replacing sickness with vitality. In a country where education is out of reach for most, we have covered their school fees, uniforms, and supplies for all three semesters, unlocking the door to a brighter future. Beyond necessities, we have brought joy and dignity to their lives, celebrating Christmas and Easter with them, providing new shoes, special meals, and moments of pure happiness that remind them they are loved and not forgotten. Among them is Shanti, a young girl who bravely endured severe facial burns. Last Christmas, she took her first step toward healing with reconstructive surgery, and this April, she will undergo her second, bringing her closer to a full recovery. This is more than aid; it is hope restored, lives transformed, and futures rewritten—because of your unwavering support.

Medical support:

Through a partnership with the upper Egypt Saft el Laban Clinic since 2023, we have continued to provide help and support to the people and patients who need it. This year we took on 8400 medical cases, and we will continue to provide support.

We have also helped over 1,200 other patients in the Middle East located in different hospitals and medical centers, ranging from Family Clinics to Gynecology centers.

A Season of Celebration: Christmas & Easter Outreach

The joy of the holiday season reached thousands:

  • 1,000 children in Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Northern Iraq, and Kenya received Christmas gifts—bringing smiles, warmth, and a sense of belonging.
  • 585 Sudanese refugee children celebrated Easter in Egypt with a festival, puppet show, and gifts, reminding them they are loved and not forgotten.

Media and Education: A New Documentary and Using AI

ROS’s work is now being featured in a powerful documentary called “26 Seconds-ISIS Sex Slaves” which is reaching millions of viewers. This documentary delivers a compelling and emotional journey, raises awareness, and challenges each of us to stand up for innocent women and children ALL around the world. This is a timely reminder of the value of vigilance in the fight for freedom.

We have also developed a new animated series dedicated to ending the stigma for survivors of sexual violence in conflict, which was featured on UNTV and aims to empower women and girls. The AI short films have also addressed parenting and value-building for children. The power of education has been a guiding principle of ROS’s work, but not everyone learns the same way. A series like this harnesses the power of illustrative animation to reach people through social media, captures people’s attention among all the other content that is present.

Becoming A Trusted Voice at United Nations Side Events: The Financial Inclusion to Empower Women in Humanitarian Contexts, Including Survivors of Sexual Violence in Conflict

This United Nations event co-hosted by Hungary, and moderated by Jacqueline Isaac, was able to draw on the experiences of girls who have survived sexual violence in conflict from Iraq, Syria, Congo, and other conflict-stricken countries.  Jacqueline shared the heartbreaking story of Rita, a young Christian woman who was “exchanged” for sexual abuse four times under f ISIS’s attempt to erase her faith and community.

In response, the Permanent Representatives of Iraq and Hungary spoke out boldly against the stigma surrounding survivors and called for real action: economic support, social reintegration, and justice that honors their dignity and pain.

ROS knows nothing is more powerful than a survivor’s voice.

We participate in these events not to be the conduit for survivors’ experiences, but to give them a platform and shine a spotlight on them to be heard. Survivors’ autonomy is the driving principle behind all our work..

United Nations Investigative Team to Promote Accountability for Crimes Committed: resolution 2697 and support of Roads of Success
