In April, Jacqueline Isaac met with the head of the UK’s Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict (PSVI) initiative, at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. During the meeting, ROS shared updates on survivor-centered programming and discussed preparations for a global call to break the stigma surrounding survivors by incorporating principles of freedom of religion or belief (FoRB).
In the village of El Kamal, El Minia, many families have been enduring worsening poverty. Our team delivered food bags that brought more than just meals—they offered encouragement, relief, and a renewed sense of hope. For some families, it was their first complete meal in weeks. These gestures served as reminders that they are seen, valued, and not alone in their journey.
This Easter campaign was not just about distributions it was a coordinated effort to bring light into dark places. Every food bag, item of clothing, and shared moment reflected a deeper commitment to dignity, compassion, and human connection.

As Lebanon continues to suffer the impacts of economic collapse, ROS supported 50 families with critical food supplies. Sixty students received hot meals and new clothes, then gathered for an uplifting Easter event that included games, a film, and an egg hunt—offering them a rare moment of joy and community. In addition, 21 women attended a supportive gathering, where they shared personal struggles, received emotional encouragement, and experienced meaningful connection.
In the village of Burj Balmana, Tartous, 50 families received essential food packages—offering much-needed nourishment and reassurance. Additionally, 50 vulnerable children were gifted new clothing sets, thoughtfully labeled with their names. Each child’s smile was a powerful reminder of the dignity and joy that can be restored through simple acts of care.
This Easter, while many families gathered in celebration, countless others across the Middle East continued to face overwhelming hardship, marked by poverty, displacement, and economic instability. Roads of Success stepped into these difficult realities with a powerful show of support, delivering care and practical relief to hundreds of individuals and families across Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt.

At Jimmy Hughes Orphanage, home to 70 children, you replaced a failing laundry system with three washing machines and a dryer, easing daily burdens and improving living conditions.
In Tegucigalpa and Paraíso, over 60 students received essential school bags and supplies at the start of the academic year in February, helping them return to class with dignity and confidence.
In Concepción de María, 200 children received shoes, toys, and clothing during outreach supported by a local church.
In Choluteca City, 50 hospitalized children were comforted with new shoes, a small gift that carried great emotional weight.

In Zahle and the Bekaa Valley, we hosted 120 children, offering gifts, art activities, and shared meals, restoring a sense of joy and belonging.
You also stood with Jack Shaheen, a 67-year-old diabetic on the verge of losing his leg after two toes were amputated. Jack was once the sole provider for his family while caring for his wife, who undergoes kidney dialysis. Because of your timely support, Jack was able to undergo life-saving surgery, preserving his leg and giving his family a renewed sense of hope.
In the heart of Isiolo, your support continues to transform lives through Victor’s Rescue Orphanage, now home to 152 children. Many of these children arrived suffering from HIV, tuberculosis, or severe malnutrition. Today, thanks to your generosity, each child receives three nutritious meals a day, full coverage of school fees, school supplies, uniforms, and comprehensive medical care.
Stories like Rosemary, who has overcome tuberculosis and is thriving in high school, and Maina, once unable to walk and now a top student gifted in acrobatics, are powerful reminders of what love, care, and opportunity can achieve.
Precious Ushindi: A Journey of Healing
At just 3 years old, Ushindi suffered life-altering burns. Now 11, she is undergoing four major reconstructive surgeries, two of which were completed in 2025 thanks to your support. Each week, she travels over five hours to Nairobi for treatment, facing every step with remarkable courage. Your generosity is restoring her dignity, rebuilding her confidence, and offering hope for a brighter future.
Beyond the orphanage, over 200 girls have been rescued from harmful cultural practices such as child marriage and female genital mutilation. Through ongoing education, mentorship, and protection programs, these girls are now safe, empowered, and building toward a better tomorrow.
