ROS Humanitarian Trip Summary Nov 2022
ROS humanitarian trip summary: God has done amazing things and we are so excited to tell you about them!
Lebanon: The team distributed free medication and provided medical check-ups for hundreds of patients, while also providing mental health support to families in crisis.
The team visited and distributed boxes of food to 24 families at the homes of impoverished Armenian and Syrian families.
Children’s stress-relief events were held where hundreds of children received toys from Am Kombosh the clown.
Iraq: The team served two camps, where they provided medical treatment to over 1700 patients, distributed winter shoes to the men and women. We provide the children with values and principles teaching, but also have an element of fun with the inclusion of the clown “3am Kombosh”. and distributed gifts and books to the children with 3am Kombuosh.
The team also opened a new medical clinic in the village of Siji which serves refugees. The children were also visited by the clown, Am Kombosh, which brought much joy.
About 12 government officials attended the opening of the clinic in Sigi.
Hungary and Ukraine: The team traveled to Hungary to support those serving in the warzone in Ukraine. In Ukraine, the team provided much-needed practical help to the workers on the ground and handed out food and other essential supplies to those in need.
Children’s stress-relief events were held where hundreds of children received toys from Am Kombosh the clown were distributed in the Ukraine.
