Christmas Joy: Bringing Light to Children Living Through Hardship

This Christmas, we had the privilege of reaching 260 children in Lebanon, children who are growing up in the middle of economic collapse, regional conflict, and daily uncertainty. Many of them carry burdens far heavier than their age should ever know.

But on this special day, their world changed.

The children sang, played, painted, and created heartfelt crafts. They decorated the Christmas tree with excitement and pride, filling the room with laughter and the kind of joy every child deserves. Each child received a simple Christmas gift and toy, small treasures that brought moments of wonder and a sense of being valued.

Their smiles, their voices lifted in song, and the way they embraced the celebration were deeply moving. For a few precious hours, fear and instability faded, replaced by light, hope, and the warmth of Christmas.

These moments remind us that even in the hardest seasons, joy can break through, and that every child deserves a day where hope feels close and real.
